Bully-Proofing Workshop for Youth
Long Beach parents, don't let your child be a victim of bullying! Register your child for a free Power of One bully-proofing workshop today.
Did you know that every school day an estimated 160,000 students in the U.S. are too afraid to go to school because of bullying? In fact, 6 out of 10 American children are bullied or witness bullying every single day. Is your child one of them? How can you help them stay safe?
Start by signing them up for a proven bully-proofing workshop right here in Long Beach at your neighborhood Power of One Institute for Self-Defense studio.
Choose from the following workshop times and locations:
Sat., Jan. 21, 1 p.m., at the Power of One Institute for Self-Defense, 4732 E. Pacific Coast Hwy., Long Beach, CA 90804 (our brand new location!)
Sat., Jan. 21, 3 p.m., at the Power of One Institute for Self-Defense, 3821 Long Beach Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90807
As longtime members of the local Long Beach community, and as parents of young children ourselves, we at the Power of One Self-Defense Institute are concerned about the safety of our city's children. That's why we created this series of free, no-obligation bully-proofing seminars.
Our "Starve the Bully Method" workshops give our local grade school, middle school, high school, and college students several non-aggressive tools to stay safe. We teach them to recognize bullying behavior and stop it in its tracks, before often irreversible mental or physical damage is done. Participants learn smart, safe, and non-physical ways to avoid conflict and get the help they need, right when they need it.
If you know someone who is being bullied, or want to protect your child or another member of your family, school, or neighborhood from bullying, we invite you to attend one of our upcoming bully-proofing workshops. We've taught them here in Long Beach for more than 15 years!
