2nd Saturday Art Walk Arts Fair

This event have continued for over 15 years since 1997 every month, providing the neighborhood with a public exhibition space for all art forms. Independent, folk, grass root artists as well as professional artists. Musicians, dancers, theatre and street performers are encouraged to participate.

2^nd Saturday Art Walk Arts Fair secures space for Long Beach Museum of Art, Museum of Latin American Art, Cal. State Long Beach Art Gallery and LBCC Art Gallery to include their exhibits together with smaller grass roots neighborhood organizations.

The monthly street closure on Linden Avenue between 1st Street and Broadway in Downtown Long Beach occurs on the second Saturday of each month from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

There are spaces for 45 artists' booths, two music locations and also a space for theatrical performers or any other form of artistic expression. Together with a street closure, local art galleries and businesses participate by hosting various art events.

2nd Saturday Art Walk welcomes all. Anyone can join as an audience and as artist. We have planned the event in such a way that whole communities can participate, regardles of their economic or cultural backgrounds.
